The Period to 2011 (the first five years)

  1. May I pledge or use my Welkom Yizani shares as a form of security?

    Participants are not and will not be entitled to enter into any agreement in terms of which their Welkom Yizani ordinary shares are used as security or encumbered in any other manner.

  2. My [relative] has died and has a Welkom Yizani share certificate. What must I do?

    Your [relative's] estate will be permitted to transfer your [relative's] shares to an eligible Black Person having at least a similar or higher BEE status/rating than your [relative], in terms of the articles

  3. I need money and wish to sell my shares.

    Welkom Yizani shares may not be traded during the minimum investment period

  4. When can I trade in Welkom Yizani shares?

    The shares cannot be traded during the minimum investment period which ends 8 December 2013. After that time, you should be able to trade your shares on an over the counter market

  5. My address has changed, what must I do?

    Download the change of address form found elsewhere on this website, or contact the call centre on 0860 12 12 24

  6. My bank account details have changed, what must I do?

  7. I have become insolvent and my estate is being sequestrated. I need to sell my Welkom Yizani shares?

    Then your estate will be permitted to transfer your shares to an eligible Black Person having at least a similar or higher BEE status/rating than yourself, in terms of the articles. You should ask your Liquidator to contact Link market Services

  8. My marital status has changed. How does this impact on my Welkom Yizani shares?

    Please provide us with a certified copy of your marriage certificate so that we can register the shares in your new name.

  9. How frequently and when will there be communication about the shares to the share holders?
